Family-Focused Election Forum

Family Centre Downtown is hosting a free family-focused election forum on Tuesday, April 9th from 5-7pm. In this forum we encourage families to engage in direct, respectful, and in-depth dialogue with political candidates and voice their priorities and perspectives for the provincial election in Alberta. We have invited all political candidates for the ridings of Lethbridge East and Lethbridge West to participate. This forum allows 90 minutes of Q&A, focused on topics directly relevant to children, youth, parents, and care-takers followed by a half hour opportunity to mix and mingle afterwards. Mark Campbell, City Councilor, will be facilitating this forum, which also will be broadcast live via Facebook. Free snacks and beverages will be provided.

Free quality child-care, provided on-site by Family Centre staff (donations are gratefully accepted). Spaces are limited, please sign up here: https://child-care-for-family-focused-election-forum.eventbrite.ca

Please feel free to submit your questions via Facebook messenger using the hashtag #Q&A or via email sara.dziwoki@famcentre.ca. Family Centre’s Board of Directors will review and select submitted questions as appropriate in light of the mission and vision of Family Centre. Participants can also ask questions in writing on Facebook live or in person at the event.
