Growing Abilities

FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES:

Growing abilities is a parent support and play group for children with differing abilities. It is open to parents/ caregivers and their children with disabilities, as well as siblings and support staff. There will be planned activities based on children’s developmental needs, abilities and interests. There will also be open ended activities for siblings and space for parents to connect. This group is facilitated by an early childhood educator and a parent educator to support children and parents. There is also a speech language pathologist from Children’s Allied Health who visits every week to answer any questions regarding speech and information on Children’s Allied Health Services.

“I love the comfortable environment and the planned activities”

“This program has allowed my children to participate with other kids, knowing they are safe and accepted”
