Parents Working Together former Supporting Father Involvement

“The Parents Working Together (former Supporting Father Involvement) program has taught me different communication skills that have made a huge difference in my marriage and with my children. Thank you!” – Past Participant.

Parents Working Together is an evidence-based program that assists parents in forming more meaningful family relationships and understanding their unique roles in child development. It provides them with the confidence and skills they need to balance their personal and family life.

Parents Working Together helps incorporate fathers into their children’s lives, and was designed to encourage both parents to understand that a father-child relationship doesn’t operate to the exclusion of a mother-child relationship, but is unique and equally beneficial.

It’s created for families with at least one child under age seven – even for parents who are expecting a child. They can be married, divorced, living together or apart. Relatives and step-parents can also participate. Parents will meet once a week for 11 weeks in a group setting led by both a male and a female facilitator. Childcare is included. Participants will have access to a case manager for additional support and referrals.
