Family Centre is able to provide short-term counselling services at subsidized cost to our clients thanks to a generous, anonymous donor. We are able to see individuals, couples, families and youth up to age 30. To qualify, you must care for, or currently have at least one child under 18 years of age and live in the Lethbridge area. At the time of registration, our Family Connector will ask you a few short questions about your family’s financial situation. This will help determine the subsidy range available for you.
In addition, we are a part of the City of Lethbridge’s ICA (Integrated Coordinated Access) program and can assist individuals, who do not qualify for our subsidy, with ICA subsidy.
We have three independent contracted counsellors at Family Centre:
Cindy Rendall – Untethered Heart Counselling
Edwin Brobbel – Blue Leaf Counselling
Sarah Olson – Sarah Olson Counselling
The COVID-19 crisis has hit our community and province hard, with many families experiencing job loss and various other financial stresses. Family Centre is serious about your safety and comfort during this unprecedented time. Counselling can take place over the phone, via video conference, or face-to-face while observing the AHS recommended physical distance. Our friendly staff and contracted counsellors will inform you of all the necessary precautions we must take to stay healthy at the time you make your appointment if you do choose in-person services.
