Counselling Services at Family Centre

Family Centre does provide counselling services! We partner with three private counsellors with offices in our downtown facility. They are able to provide short-term counselling services to our clients, at subsidized cost,  thanks to a generous, anonymous donor. The counsellors are able to see couples, families and youth up to 30.

To qualify, you must care for, or currently have at least one child under 18 years of age and live in the Lethbridge area.  At the time of registration, our Family Connector will ask you a few short questions about your family’s financial situation. This will help determine the subsidy range available for you.

If you do not fit the eligibility of our subsidy, the Family Connect will work with you to find services. The counsellors are able to direct bill for some EAP programs and/or are part of the city of Lethbridge’s Integrated Coordinated Access which provides subsidized counselling.
