Description:  “By attending the class, my children learned how to express their feelings. They feel more comfortable saying how they are feeling. I have realized that I need to model the behavior I want to see in my kids, particularly talking about my own feeling and the techniques I use to handle stress and frustration.” – past participant
Kimochi means “feelings” in Japanese. The program is designed to give parents and children, ages 3-6, the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need to recognize and manage their emotions within a play environment. We are packing a 10 week program into a 2 week afternoon camp this summer! The schedule for the time will include parent/child free play, kimochi learning and snack.
