Indigenous Wellness & Spirituality
February 14 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until February 14, 2023
The program is open to all First Nations, Metis and Inuit families. Life’s challenges to a great extent arise from negative experiences from childhood to youth to adult life. One approach is to help people to understand themselves. This approach is called ‘WELLNESS AND SPIRITUALITY’. Wellness can be approached from aspects of the BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT. Everything is interrelated and the entry starting point for this approach is SPIRITUALITY. Spirituality is not about Religion, but about, Spirit Reality. How a person’s spirit impacts the body and mind and how people display their lives. The program is facilitated by a Blackfoot Elder with our Indigenous staff. Dinner and a children’s program are included.
Program dates: Tuesdays January 17 – February 14 @ 5:00pm – 8:00pm
